רשימת הקורסים: תואר ראשון ושני

בקורס זה נלמד על האזורים והמסלולים המוחיים הקשורים לעיבוד שפתי ועל השיטות השונות של דימות מוחי המשמשות במחקרי שפה. נתעמק הן במודלים הקלאסיים והן במודלים העדכניים של עיבוד שפה במוח אצל אנשים חד- ורב-לשוניים. בנוסף, נלמד על מחקרים עדכניים בנושא של שפה ומוח באוכלוסיות בריאות ובעלות לקויות, ונדון בהשלכותיהם הקליניות עבור ילדים ומבוגרים עם מגוון קשיי שפה.

This course will cover different aspects of neuroanatomy related to language. We will discuss the main regions and pathways of the brain that are involved in language processing, delve into different neuroimaging techniques that are used today in research, and break down the classical models of brain and language to understand why they are outdated. We will then discuss several current models of brain and language in monolingual and multilingual people. Finally, students will present current research on brain and language based on these current models, and together as a class we will analyse the research and their implications on clinical practice for children and adults with a variety of language impairments. Teaching is mostly in-person lectures.
