During my time at Hadassah Academic College, the teachers, lecturers and professors set us a high standard for students. They gave us a sense that they believed in us and that we could go far. At Hadassah, the lecturers get to know each student, and that personal familiarity you gives you the feeling that you are not just a number among thousands. The sense of personal connection encourages students to invest and succeed in their education. The encouragement and personal attention I received from professors pushed me to invest learning, and to go beyond just the basics. I really doubt I would have found that kind of inspiration if I had gone to a large university.
After my undergraduate studies, I continued on in academia, earning a master's degree from the Hebrew University and a doctorate from Ben-Gurion University. Thanks to those strong early foundations from Hadassah, today I am a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science College at Sapir College in Sderot, Israel.
