I came to Hadassah College because of its excellent reputation for high quality academic studies. After completing my B.Sc., I decided to pursue graduate studies in the field because I know that graduate studies in computer science are in high demand in the job market, and also because an MA degree would allow me the opportunity to continue on into even higher level academic studies . So, after graduation with my B.Sc. in computer science from Hadassah, I continued on to graduate studies in computer science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Currently, I am developing products that require very high mathematical abilities as well as a lot of creativity. I create new technologies for vehicles, such as the development of driver assistance systems. For example, my system can identify for the driver road signs in any country, automatically lower high beams to low beam lights, and perform many other similar tasks.
I'm happy I chose this field. On the one hand, it is challenging intellectually and on the other hand requires creativity. During my studies I made a group of good friends, friends for life. I owe these close friendships to the intimate and interactive nature of the program at Hadassah. I acquired excellent people skills, which today help my ability to be a good professional manager and also to work in collaboration people in various academic institutions.
I advise those who struggle to figure out a professional track to ask themselves what they love to do. You need to love your field to be able to fully engage in it. In computer Science, you have to love working with computers. The field is so broad and includes so many topics and disciplines. Everyone can find a niche that suits his character.
