"I chose to study in the Politics and Communications department because I was interested in Politics, but at the end of the day I was more attracted to Communications. New Media, social networks and the online arena really interested me. I decided to study at the Hadassah Academic College mainly because I wanted to study in a smaller intimate place and not a University.
I remember lecturers from the college that I really loved, amongst them Carmit, who guided me on my final report, that dealt in the question of how NPO’s promote themselves on social networks. This is actually the field I am active in today. She was the one that “changed my direction” from politics to communications. I highly recommend studying with her. During my studies I loved the field trips and they contributed to me immensely. If it was going to Walla, Globus Group, behind the scenes of the Knesset and more.
Today, I work as a public relations and marketing person for the Jerusalem AKIM organization. The organization deals in the treatment and support of people with mental disabilities. I manage all the social networks for the organization: Twitter, Facebook, and the website, announcements to the newspapers, marketing events and more."
