Anat Moshihov-Levi | Biotechnology (B.Sc.), 2007

The most exciting thing is hearing from doctors how their patients' quality of life has improved or was extended.

When I think back on my B.Sc. degree at Hadassah College, I remember the excellent curriculum and professors. I also think of the warm atmosphere, which was very different than that which I found at the larger university where I studied for my master's degree. Compared to larger schools, Hadassah has a really lovely, homey atmosphere.

Biotechnology at Hadassah was an absolutely fascinating field of study, with interesting and challenging courses. I am very pleased with the career and advanced opportunities my education at Hadassah opened up for me. In addition to earning an advanced degree in the field, I was also formerly employed in cytogenetic research at Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center. I am currently working in the Department of International Marketing and Sales at Astrazeneca Pharmaceuticals. This position is directly related to the degree program I studied at Hadassah.

For me, the most exciting part of my job is to hear back from doctors who've treated their patients with the oncology drugs I market. I hear how the patients' quality of life has improved or their life span was extended, and I feel that I am part of making that happen.

I wholeheartedly recommend the Hadassah College to any prospective students, no matter what field they are interested in studying in. In terms of selecting this field - biotechnology is a very broad, rich and varied field, with many professional opportunities. With a degree in biotechnology, you can go in a great many different and interesting directions.
