Gal Herzog | Biotechnology (B.Sc.), 2006

During my three years in the Department of Biotechnology, I met the people who have become my best friends. The department faculty were my mentors and guided me towards my professional future.

Beyond the wonderful social atmosphere, the advanced level of studies in the Department gave me the effective tools I needed to advance in academia in the field. The foundation I received at Hadassah College allowed me to continue on to graduate studies at the Department of Biotechnology at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where I graduated with honors. It is so important for me to note the great professional advantage received by Hadassah students: the College provides unique opportunities for practical experience in laboratories, where students spend a lot more hours than typically do undergraduate students in major universities.

Today, I'm working on a doctorate in biotechnology at Tel Aviv University. I have a lot of future prospects for continued work and study in the field.
