Hadassah's program gives students the chance to care for and work directly with patients

After I completed my service in the Israel Defense Forces, I first enrolled in a degree program for electrical engineering. But it turned out that I didn't enjoy the subject and I began looking for something else. At that point, I heard about the BA in Communication Disorders program at Hadassah College, which interested me both for the theories involved and also for the clinical element of the studies.

Upon arriving at Hadassah, I was very impressed with the staff and the student-faculty ratio. I also enjoyed the practical nature of the studies. Beginning while we are still undergraduates, Hadassah's program gives students the chance to care for and work directly with patients. That means that by the time I graduated, I had a rich resume of clinical experience as well as a degree. During my studies I really worked hands-on with the tools of the trade- conducting hearing tests, making diagnoses, working with a variety of conditions, like stuttering, for example.

Because of the quality of our experiences and training, and the excellent reputation of Hadassah College, every member of my class was able to find work in the field almost immediately after graduation. I am currently working in hearing rehabilitation while also studying for my Ph.D.
