My research is involved in the development of mathematical models for implementing solar energy technology. This is a new field with global of interest.
My degree from Hadassah College gave me the basic tools which were the vital foundation for graduate school. I'm very happy that I studied at Hadassah, and I feel the degree program there led me to what I am doing today. I am currently completing my doctorate at Imperial College, London, specializing in science and medical technology at the Department of Geophysics. My research is involved in the development of mathematical models for implementing solar energy. This is a new field with global of interest. I have developed a mathematical model that analyzes the most appropriate place for solar power installations by considering various parameters.
To date, the models take into consideration parameters like temperature and solar radiation, as well as five other complex atmospheric parameters. The model is designed to calculate the amount of electricity that can be produced using solar energy at a specific location. I am very pleased that my research isn't on an abstract and obscure topic, but rather is very business and applications oriented research.
