I always knew I wanted to work in therapy. When I enrolled at Hadassah Academic College, I was impressed by the small, intimate nature of the Department of Optometry. Class size was low and each student received personal attention at high levels.
The College's high academic standards, and specifically the fact that class sizes are so small, helped me as a student to do well in and be engaged by my classes. I learned how to read professional articles and how to stay current in an always changing and evolving profession. Today I treat people with severe disabilities who need vision aids other than glasses. I am also able to pass on my knowledge to a new generation of students as a lecturer at the College.
