HAC represents a unique tapestry of students from a myriad of backgrounds, and The Blender is committed to nurturing this diversity into innovation. We aim to inspire and equip our students, alumni, and academic staff with practical tools and unwavering support as they embark on tangible steps toward entrepreneurship and innovation.
At The Blender, opportunity abounds. We host guest lectures by industry luminaries, offer in-depth workshops on pertinent subjects, and encourage active participation in our Pre-Accelerator Programs and various competitions. These initiatives cater not only to our general campus but also to our Haredi (Ultra-Orthodox) campus, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all.
True to its name, The Blender is a melting pot of ideas and talents. Here, individuals from diverse backgrounds and expertise converge, each adding their unique flavor to the mix, fostering new and exciting ventures together.
Founded in 2020 by Dr. Tali Hadassa Blank, a senior lecturer and head of entrepreneurship and innovation at HAC, alongside Prof. Michael Berman, head of the Computer Science department and a seasoned technology entrepreneur, The Blender was established in partnership with the Jerusalem Development Authority. Our foundation is built on a shared vision to foster creative, entrepreneurial, and innovative thinking across the campus.
In 2023, we expanded our reach by opening a new branch at the Strauss Campus, promoting higher education and innovation within the Ultra-Orthodox community. This expansion underscores The Blender's commitment to inclusivity, offering tailored support and fostering entrepreneurship across all college demographics.
