This talk will discuss clinical applications of scleral lenses for special cases such as corneal surface diseases, and lenses with prisms and telescopes for diplopia and low vision.

Dr. Daddi Fadel DOptom , FSLS, FBCLA, FAAO, FIACLE is a clinical scientist and optometrist at the Center for Ocular Research and Education at the University of Waterloo. She specializes in contact lenses for irregular corneas, scleral lenses, myopia control, and orthokeratology.
Dr. Fadel has authored several peer reviewed publications, as well as several books including Clinical Guide for Scleral Lens Success ” with Dr. Barnett, and "Scleral Lens Complications: Their Recognition, Etiology , and Management".
