This presentation explores the connection between behavioural patterns and myopia prevalence among ultra-Orthodox and non-Orthodox children and higher education students in Israel. 

Dr. Ravid Doron is an optometrist (B.Optom, Bar-Ilan University, 2000) with an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Medical Sciences (Tel-Aviv University, 2010 and 2017). She is a senior lecturer as well as a clinical preceptor at the Department of Optometry at Hadassah Academic College. Dr. Doron’s research focuses on myopia and visual perception, with several publications in scientific peer-reviewed journals.
