The Oculus project under the auspices of the European Union’s Erasmus+ project for promoting and enriching optometry curricula has started at the Hadassah Academic College and will continue for three years.

This project advances cooperation between the optometry schools in Europe (Norway, Britain, Spain and Holland) together with Israel and India with the goal of creating a harmonized optometry teaching array in Europe, which would enable employing school graduates who participate in the project in certain European countries.
The Optometry and Vision Science at the Hadassah Academic College has placed an emphasis on reinforcing the scientific and clinical ability of the students for operating evidence based practice EBP optometry in the array of patient treatment.
The curriculum is undergoing an upgrade in order to, simultaneously, impart students with advanced clinical abilities and skills, as a well as with the abilities of thought and scientific analysis as well, as the ability to trace reliable scientific studies on the relevant clinical subjects.
