Last month, HAC hosted the Journey 4 Impact contingent from Hadassah-WIZO Canada (CHW), who have been loyal supporters of HAC for many years. Prof. Bertold Fridlender, President of HAC, warmly greeted the group of participants, after which they heard a presentation from the academic staff, students, and graduates of the DAN Department of Creative Human Design, which is supported by CHW.
After this, members of the contingent heard a presentation about The Blender – HAC’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and met with four students who were accompanied by The Blender, and who have developed unique and practical innovations. Finally, the group heard a fascinating talk by Suleiman Maswadeh, a graduate of HAC’s Department of Politics and Communication, who is the Jerusalem Affairs Correspondent for KAN 11 Broadcasting. After this, the group heard a presentation about the recent elections in Israel from Prof. Doron Shultziner, Chair of HAC’s Department of Politics and Communication.
In their thank-you letter, CHW wrote as follows:
Thank you for taking part in CHW's Journey 4 Impact. Your support helped make our trip a great success. What a wonderful and memorable week it was, thanks to you. Visiting our projects and meeting you in-person made the trip so special and impactful for all our participants. We look forward to making more memories with you in the future! We truly appreciate all the time and effort that went into ensuring that our Journey participants had an engaging and inspiring experience at Hadassah Academic College!
