Program Goals and Career Opportunities - Medical Laboratory Sciences

The B.Med.Lab.Sc. program faculty includes skilled instructors, academics from various prestigious universities, and scientists and professionals currently working in the field. Between one third and one half of the program’s graduates continue for advanced degrees in the fields of genetics, physiology, pharmacology, genetic therapy, virology, microbiology, all directly supporting medical research. Others find immediate employment in medical clinic and hospital laboratories, in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, and in academic research centers.
