The course "Clinical Reasoning in Optometry: Analysis of Complex Cases" is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of optometrists in analyzing and managing complex clinical cases. Students will tackle a variety of advanced clinical challenges, including pediatric cases, complex binocular vision problems, prescribing prisms and examining prism adaptation, fitting multifocals, and analyzing of complex cases in the geriatric population. The course emphasizes the development of advanced clinical reasoning, diagnostic techniques, and effective treatment plans. The course concludes with an interactive session where students present and discuss clinical cases in depth with their peers.
