Raz Greenberg is an animation and visual culture researcher. His research examines animation as a media text and offers a method for analysis of animated texts, along with an examination of the intersection of animation and culture in North America, Japan and Israel, and digital games. His articles were published on several journals, including the Journal of Film and Video, Literature/Film Quarterly, Animation: An Interdisciplinary Journal, and others. His book about the early works of Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki was published by Bloomsbury academic.
